Obituary
George Adank, 50 years old and a resident of Burlington since boyhood, died at his home, 147 North Gunnison street, late Sunday night, following a stroke of paralysis which he suffered last Friday. he had been an invalid since a previous stroke several months ago.
Mr. Adank was born October 20, 1873, a native of Wisconsin, and came to Burlington with his parents in 1882. he was a steamfitter by trade and was for many years in the employ of John H. Ewinger, the plumber.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Louisa ADank; his father adam Adank; two brothers, Chris and Peter Adank, of Burlington and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Rasmussen of Chicago.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, at 1:30 from the Unterkircher funeral home. Rev. E.H. Muelder will be in charge and burial will follow in Aspen Grove cemetery.
