Obituary
Walter F. Bock, 61, 720 N. Garfield, died at 7:545 pm Saturday in Burlington hospital following a brief illness.
He was the owner of the Bock Plumbing & Heating Co. and had been in business here for the past 23 years.
Bock was born Dec. 10, 1898, in Burlington the son of Fred and Amelia Hensie Bock, and was married Oct. 20, 1921, in Burlington to Mary A. Long.
He was a member of Bethany Lutheran church.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Wheeler, Sciota, Ill., and Mary Ann Bock, at home; a son, Richard of Burlington, four grandchildren; a brother, William C. of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. His parents are dead.
Services will be held at 2 pm. Tuesday in Prugh’s chapel with Dr. ME Lehmann officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
