Obituary

Chris Adank, 75, died at his home 1208 N. Seventh street, at 12:15 o'clock this afternoon after a brief illness. he had suffered from heart trouble for some time, and it was this that caused his death.
Mr. Adank, a resident of Burlington for 60 years, had long been an embalmer for the Unterkircher funeral home. He was formerly coroner of Des Moines County and was a member of the Burlington area of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He was born in Switzerland March 9, 1865, and was united in marriage Aug. 22, 1888, with Clara Rundorff.
Surviving is his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Laurie Blank of Burlington; one brother, Pete Adank of Chicago; two sisters; Mrs. Rasmussen of Chicago, Il and Mrs. Ed Helwig of Burlington.
The body is at the residence.
Funeral services will be under the direction of the Unterkircher funeral home at a time to be announced later.
