Miss Bessie J Bauguess, 52, a former Burlington resident, died at 10:45 pm Wednesday at Burbank, Calif.
A native of New Boston, Ill., she was the daughter of Robert Lee and Pluma Mae St. Ores Bauguess. She never married. She was an electrician at Lockheed Aircraft Co.
Miss Bauguess was of the Christian faith.
Surviving are a brother, George Bauguess, Burlington; five sisters, Mrs. Inex Whitlow, Muscatine; Mrs. Ruby Gustison, Winfield; Mrs. Mary Ramsey, Burbank; Mrs. Hortense Rehm and Mrs. Von Liddle, both of Burlington; two uncles, two aunts and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her parents and a brother, Donald, died previously.
The body will arrive in Burlington Saturday afternoon.
Services will be at 2 pm Monday at Prugh’s Chapel, the Rev. Merle J. White officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
