Sharon Whittaker, 61, of Burlington, died at 1:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at Burlington Care Center. Born April 8, 1947, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Donald and Virginia Richardson Wiley. On December 23, 1978, she married Ray Whittaker in Burlington. Mrs. Whittaker was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and loved to play games, craft work, traveling and was an excellent cook. Survivors include her husband, Ray Whittaker of Quincy, Illinois; one daughter, Becky (Todd) Foy of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one son, Jason Whittaker of Florida; five grandchildren; one sister, Marjorie (Paul) Ervin of Burlington; and two brothers, Robert Wiley and Don (Shirley) Wiley both of Burlington; and an aunt, Patsy (Oscar) Cline of Burlington. Her son, Robert Brian Wiley; parents; twin sister, Karen Gibb; and a granddaughter preceded her in death.
