Obituary

The body of John Adams, (Juan Adams), Mexican was brought here last night to Prugh's chapel from Oakdale, IA where Adams died Sunday night after a long illness. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. He is survived by six children all of whom are under the supervision of the county. He formerly was employed on the Burlington railroad and lived at West Burlington.
Juan Adams was his real name but he was known as John Adams. He was tried and acquitted of murder here several years ago.
