Joseph N. Bock, 53, 3110 Sunnyside, died at 6:45 am Saturday in Burlington hospital.
He was born Feb., 8, 1913, in Burlington hospital. On Oct. 1, 1934, he married Laura Louise Tieman, in Burlington.
Mr. Bock was a third-generation member of the Bocks in the florist business here. His grandfather, Joseph Bock, founded the firm. He was co-owner of Bock’s Flower Shop and Greenhouse for many years. He was recently employed in the Montgomery Wards Sporting goods department.
Mr. Bock was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, the Eagles, Elks, the Society of Iowa Florists, and the Hammond Organ society.
Surviving: His wife; an aunt, Mrs. Clara Meyer, Burlington.
