Anthony “Tony” Ray Blunk, 52, of Burlington, died at 3:15 pm on Friday, March 9, 2007, at his home.
Born March 28, 1954, in Terre Haute, Ind., he was the son of Robert Ray Blunk and Patsy Joan Cutright Isle.
He has worked 32 years as a welder for JI Case. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association and Local No. 807. He enjoyed restoring muscle cars, riding his motorcycle, and boating on the Mississippi River.
Survivors include his mother Patsy Isle of Winfield; three sons, Benjamin, Jason, and Lucas, all of Burlington; three sisters, Tena Dizon of Burlington, Anna Blunk of New London, and Lorie VanAmerongen of Winfield; one brother, Michael Blunk of Iowa; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Visitation will be from 8 am to 8:30 pm Wednesday in Prugh’s Chapel where the family will meet with friends from 7 to 8:30 pm.
The funeral for Mr. Blunk will be at 1 pm on Thursday in Prugh’s Chapel with Rev. Dean Moberg officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
