Grace Eleanor (Pat) White, 85, of Burlington, died at 8:29 AM Monday, February 12, 2018, at the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born July 12, 1932, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Fred Edward and Grace Eleanor Lloyd Beck. On May 7, 1955, she married Leonard Alden White in Burlington. He later passed on February 2, 2009.
Pat was a Registered Nurse for Burlington Medical Center-Klein Center for 26 years before retiring in 1994.
She was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ where she was an officer of Women's Fellowship and a member of The Circle. She enjoyed doing cross-word puzzles, watching the birds and loved cooking; especially trying new recipes.
Survivors include two daughters, Regina White of Eugene, OR, and Renee A. Ober of Peoria, IL; two sons, Rick A. White of Englewood, CO, and Douglas A. White of Littleton, CO; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother in infancy in 1930, two sisters, and her aunt Luella A. Beck who raised her since infancy.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.
The funeral service for Pat will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor JudyAnn Morse officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Susan G. Komen for the cure.
