Harry F. Bloomer, 85, retired carpenter-contractor of 708 Harrison, died in Burlington Memorial hospital Tuesday, Dec. 3. The son of Ferris and Sophia Roth Bloomer, he was born here July 14, 1889. He married Ella M. Gough April 28, 1915., in Burlington. Mr. Bloomer was a member of Woodmen of the World. Surviving: The wife; two sons, Allen L., Des Moines, and Robert E., Burlington; sister Mrs. Florence Thompson, Inglewood Calif.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral: Prugh's chapel, 10:30 a.m. Thursday; Rev. Floyd Cripps; Aspen Grove cemetery.
