Obituary
Mrs. Mary Bel, of Garfield Avenue and Louisa street, died last evening at her home after a short illness. She was 71 years of age and had lived in Burlington for about two years. She was born in Germany and came to America when young, first locating in the east and later in Louisa county, coming to Burlington two years ago.
She was a good Christian woman, a member of the Lutheran church. Surviving are five children. Three nieces, Mrs. Samuel Meers, Mrs. Fred Galey, and Mrs. Thomas Sowden reside in Burlington. The funeral will be held Friday morning from the residence.
