Henry Clay Able, 48. of 512 S. 4th street, died at Sacred Heart hospital, Ft. Madison, at 1:45 am Sunday, after an extended illness. He was admitted to the hospital a month ago.
He was born in Platt City, MO June 15, 1898, the son of George and Addie Dodson Abel, and was employed in Burlington bu the Benner Tean company.
Surviving are 2 sisters, Mrs. Emma Oldhan of Burlington and Mrs. Sallay Stewart of San Francisco, Cal; and one niece.
Services will be held in Prugh's chapel at a time to be announced later.
