Evelyn Theresa Wells, 90, former resident of Burlington, died in LaCrosse, Wisconsin on Wednesday, October 2, 2013.
Born on November 1, 1922 in Galesburg, Illinois, she was the daughter of Carl H. and Emily T. Fillman Berges. She married Robert Wells in Houston, Texas. He died on January 10, 2008.
Evelyn was a homemaker and worked Witte Drug Store, the Burlington Hawkeye the Franciscan & Rock Island General Hospital and also at the Rock Island Arsenal. She was of the Presbyterian Faith.
