Dorothy "Dottie" L. Bloomberg, 73, of Burlington, died at 3:23 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999, at St. Francis Continuation Care Center. Born Feb. 12, 1926, in Canton, Mo., she was the daughter of Alex and Lillie Mae Graves Hunter. She married Clarence W. Graham. He preceded her in death. On July 20, 1967, she married Mark L. Bloomberg in Urbana, Ill. Mrs. Bloomberg moved to Burlington as a small child. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her family, her church, cooking, and fishing. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Kenneth L. Graham of Wapello, Larry C. Graham of Burlington, and Rick L. Graham of Port Charlotte, Fla.; two daughters, Connie E. Glisan of Burlington, and Jackie M. Anderson of St. Paul, Minn.; one stepson, Randall M. Bloomberg of Burlington; one stepdaughter, Kathy J. Birdsell of Burlington; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Billie J. Keith of New London. Besides her first husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one stepdaughter, and two sisters. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral for Mrs. Bloomberg will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Faith Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ralph D. Andersen officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Faith Lutheran Church.
