Hilmer C. Weis, 77, of 2115 it N. Roosevelt, died Monday,.May 25. at 9:15 p.m. in the Veterans hospital at Iowa City .He was born Sept. 17, 1892,at Burlington, the son of John P. and Caroline Carlson Weis. Nov. 17. 1923. he married Marie Mack in Monmouth, Ill. Mr.Wets was a guard at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant,retiring in 1947. He was a Methodist, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Eagles.He served in the army during World War I. Surviving: The wife; nephew,John Weis, Los Angeles, Calif, and a niece, Peggy Weis, Pasadena, Calif. Funeral: Thursday at 2 p.m.in Elliott-Lunning chapel. Dr.
