Mrs. Marie Weis, 86. of 2115 Roosevelt. died in Burlington Medical Center at midnight Wednesday,Jan. 21,She was born March 23. 1894, to Anton and Antonia Mathes Mack,and married Hilmer Weis Nov. 17.1923. in Monmouth, Ill.; He died May 25. 1970.Mrs. Weis was an employee of two former Burlington candy companies, Clinton-Copeland and Gardner and Gould. She was a member of St. Mary church, West Burlington. Nieces and nephews survive.Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, St.Mary church, Fr. Louis Mulligan;Aspen Grove cemetery. Rosary: 7:30p.m. Friday, Lunning chapel, where a memorial to the church has been established.
