Chrisjhon Louis Weinreich, 86, of 11004 Valley, died at Burlington Care Center at 7:25 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24. The son of William and Lena Brakenciek Weinreich, he was born July 31, 1889, at Burnside, ill. He married Barbara Talmadge. He retired after 30 years of service with the old Iowa Soap Co. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church. Surviving: The wife; four sons. Thomas Lowrey, Detroit, Kenneth Weinreich, Skokie, ill., Toney Weinreich, mt. Pleasant, and Leslie Weinreich, Burlington; two daughters Verna Diewold, Antioch, Calif., and Sylvia Copley, of Burlington; brother, Adam Weinreich, Phoenix, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 1:30 Wednesday, Lunning Chapel, Rev. Gilbert A. Saathoff; Aspen Grove cemetery.
