Obituary
Henry Wiehofen, 80, former Burlington resident died late Sunday evening at Albuquerque, N.M. He was born in Germany and came to Chicago, Ill., as a boy. He was married to Alma Wolowski of Chicago. Weihofen had worked as a conductore for the Chicago surface lines, retiring at 65. He and his wife made their home with their daughter, Mrs. Albert Kleing, 1300 N. Sixth, in 1951. Mrs. Weihofen died a year later and was buried at Burlington. Weihofen moved to Albuquerque, N.M. in 1956. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Klein; a brother, Prof. Henry Weihofen Jr., Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, George, Hazel Crest, ill.; a sister, Mrs. James Curry, Washington, D.C.; nine grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be cremated and the ashes sent to Burlington for burial. Funeral services are pending.
