Herman H. Weicher, 75, of Burlington Care Center, died in Burlington Medical Center at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16. He was born March 28, 1904, at Burlington, the son of John and Rosena Messmer Weicher. He married Kathryn M. Murphy Nov. 15, 1933, in Burlington. She died Oct. 20, 1973. He was employed by Bock's Greenhouse for 50 years. He was a member of St. Mary church, West Burlington. Surviving: Son Joh, Burlington; three daughters, Margaret Mynatt, Loredo, Texas, and Patricia Gergardt and Rose Mary Johnson, both of Burlington; brother, Alfred Weicher, Burlington; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, Fr. Louis J. Mulligan; Aspen Grove cemetery. Rosary: 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Prugh's Chapel. A memorial for St. Mary church has been established.
