Mrs. Gladys Faye Wegener, 53, 1809 Sunnyside, died at Burlington hospital Monday at 3:05 p.m. after an extended illness. She was born Feb. 4, 1902, in Henderson county, Ill., the daughter of Jefferson and Anna Cook McCannon. Nov. 22, 1921, she married Harold Wegener in Burlington. She was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are her husband; two daughters Mrs. Richard French and Mrs. Harold Mondorf, both of Burlington; two grandchildren, two brothers, Thomas McCannon and Walter McCannon, both of Burlington; a step-brother, Alfred Shofe, Burlington. Her parents and eight brothers and sisters are dead. Services will be held in Prugh's chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
