Obituary

Frederick G. Webstr, 69, of 410 S, Ninth street, died suddenly at his home Monday afternoon. The police ambulance and fire department inhalator squad were called, but he was dead on the arrival of a doctor. He was born Apr. 2, 1888, at Colchester, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Webster. He married the former Frances Wilson on Nov. 1, 1920, at Crown Point, Ind. Webster was a veteran of World War I, and was a charter member of the American Legion post, a member of the Elk's 40&8 clubs. Surviving are his wife; a sister, Mrs. Vern Cheeseman, Macomb, Ill.; three brothers, Seigel and Wilbur of Colchester, and Randle of Burlington. his parents and a brother are dead. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Giles Funeral home. Burial with military rites will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
