Jeremy L. Weber, 28, of LeGrand, died Monday, Nov. 7, 1988, at University Hospitals, Iowa City, from complications associated with Hodgkins disease. Born March 2, 1960, in Marshalltown, he was the son of Joseph and Inez Baker Weber. He married Carrie Merritt Sept. 27, 1986, in Fort Madison. He was raised and educated in Marshalltown and Garwin. He had been employed as an audio technician with the musical group :The Matadors" for eight years. He was a resident treatment worker at the Iowa Veterans Hme at the time of his death. Surviving are his wife; his mother, Ottumwa; three brothers, Joseph Weber and Dennis Weber, both of Marshalltown, and Steven Weber, Garwin; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth (Marc) Cole, Marshalltown, Mrs. Barbara (Leonard) Untiedt, Garwin, and Mrs. Berneta (Robert) Ledvina, Toledo; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday at the Pursel-Davis Chapel, Marshalltown. The service for Mr. Weber will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Pursel-Davis Chapel, Marshalltown. A committal service will be 4 p.m. Friday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, with the Rev. Ray Boulter officiating. A memorial has been established.
