John Dean Weatherford, 79, of Burlington Care Center, died at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 1994, at the center. Born Sept. 17, 1914, in Pinckneyville, Ill., he was the son of Edward D. and Ernie Mansker Weatherford. Mr. Weatherford worked at Midwest Appliance Manufacturing, Galesburg, Ill., before his retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include three daughters, two sons, 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Graveside committal services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the Veterans Section of Aspen Grove Cemetery.
