Arthur "Art" L. Watt, 88 of 906 Westland Ave., died at 6:40 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 1994, at his residence. Born May 20, 1906, in Oakville, he was the son of Joseph and Anna Lambert Watt. On March 5, 1955, he married Charlotte E. Parker in Monmouth, Ill. Mr. Watt was a truck driver most of his life. After retirement, he worked at the Burlington Medical Center parking ramp. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a past member of the Eagles Club and the Moose Lodge, He was a graduate of Burlington High School and the Burlington School of Business. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Lilia B. Brown of Columbus, N.J.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. There will be no visitation. The body has been cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Watt will be at 2 p.m. today in Lunning Chapel, with Mr. Steve Parker officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Cancer Society.
