Wardell “Squeaky” Watson was born July 8, 1956 to the proud parents Evelyn Watson and Payton Thomas. Squeaky was the third child out of seven children.
Squeaky grew up in Chicago, Illinois and attended Dunbar H.S. where he got his talent working on cars. Squeaky was a very family oriented man who loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and working on cars.
In 1976 Squeaky married his 1st wife, Arlene and to that union one child was born. In 1982 Squeaky married his soul mate, Sylvia. In 1997 Squeaky relocated to Burlington, IA, where he started a new life. Squeaky was baptized and received the Holy Ghost under the great pastor O.C. Wimley, where he was a faithful member until he became ill and relocated back to Chicago, IL, with his daughter. While still in Iowa he met and married his 3rd wife, Teresa. Squeaky confessed his life to the Lord on January 20, 2013 at 1:17 pm at Little Company of Mary Hospital with his children by his side.
Squeaky is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia; mother, Evelyn; father, Payton; and two brothers, Lonnie Sr. and Eddie.
Squeaky leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Teresa; 14 children, Tasha, Micheal, Donnell, Rebecca, Anthony, Wardell Jr. (Amanda), Iquttia, Arlene (DeAndre), Antarius, Aisha (Jerome), Anna, marissa, Evelyn and Jade Ann; three step-sons, Deonte, Ladarius and Devonte; two sisters, Pamela and Audrey; two brothers, Donnell and Wondoful (Salin); 38 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
