James Andrew Watson, 60, of 2109 Northern Drive, Apt.A, Burlington, died at 12:10 a.m. Monday, May 29, 1995 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Born Nov. 15, 1934 in Washington, he was the son of Glenn Andres "Tip" and Cecil Mae Dunbar Watson. Mr. Watson was a bookkeeper for the Hope Haven Area Development Center. He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Moose. Survivors include three nieces, two nephews and one sister-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral for Mr. Watson will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. William S. Trump officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Hope Haven Area Development Center.
