Mrs. Cecile M. Watson, 70, of 1821 Division, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday April 11, at Burlington Medical Center. She was born July 8, 1907 in Keota, the daughter of F.A. and Bertha Brickensterfer Dunbar. She married Glenn A. (Tip) Watson Nov. 16, 1933. She was a retired nurse and member of the Eagles auxiliary. Survivors: The husband; two sons, James, Burlington and Larry, Davenport; three brothers, Boyd and Cloyde Dunabr, both of Washington and Dale Dunbar, Mt. Pleasant; six sisters, Mrs.Bernice Dill, Mrs. Wayne (Evelyn) McCallister and Mrs. Harold (Verne) McConnell, all of Keota, Mrs. Raymond (Mildred) Hammen, Washington, Mrs. Lloyd (Gladys) Glanz, Des Moines, and Mrs. Robert (Thelma) Widdifield, Cathedral City, Cal.; five grandchildren. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Prugh's chapel, Rev. Clifford Haskings and Fr Donald Redmond; Aspen Grove cemetery. A memorial has been established for James Watson.
