James Glen Watson, 59 of 414 Leffler, West Burlington, died Thursday, after a long illness. He was an IOP employe. Watson was born July 8, 1898, in Pike county, Il., the son of James M. and Ellen Watson and was married to Gladys Windmiller Oct. 1, 1922, at Pittsfield, Ill. He was a member of the Christian church, the Pittsfield, Ill., Lodge No. 790 AF & Am, and White Shrine No. 11, Burlington. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, MRs. Barbara Benge, and a son, William R. Watson, both of Burlington; two grandchildren; a brother, Claude Watson, Pittsfield; three sisters, Mrs. Susie Dunham, Mrs. Maude Burbridge, and Mrs. Nellie Miller, all of PItsfield. His parents are dead. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Prughs. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
