Mrs. Ruth Waste, 86, a native of Burlington, died at Freeman, S.D. Monday, July 8. The former Ruth Ruedy, she was born May 4, 1899. She married Harry Leslie Waste in Burlington on Sept. 7, 1920; he died May 10, 1979. Mrs. Waste was a Baptist. Surviving: Three daughters, Harriett Huber, Freeman; Patricia Andrews, San Pedro, Calif., and Doris Jane McVey, Ft. Madison; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
