Chester "Chet" H. Warth, 81, of the Donnellson Health Center in Donnellson, formerly of Danville, died at 9:10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, 1995, at the health center. Born Sept. 22, 1914 in Des Moines County, he was the son of Henry and Grace Wykert Warth. Mr. Warth worked in the railroad division at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant for 34 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Eagles and the Moose and was an avid golfer and bowler. Survivors include on brother, Gilbert Warth of Dallas, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and four brothers. There will be no family visitation. The funeral for Mr. Warth will be 10 a.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. David Mixon officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cememtery. A memorial has been established to Danville Fire and Rescue.
