Obituary
George (Jack) Warner, 74, 1507 Thul, died at 1 a.m. Tuesday in St. Francis hospital. He had been admitted Jan. 2. He was born Dec. 18, 1883 in Burlington, the son of George and Elizabeth Lutzenberg Warner. On April 15, 1911 he married Anna Hansen here. Warner was of the Methodist faith. He was a plumber and a member of Laborers Union Local 525. He is survived by his wife, three daughters. Mrs. Helen Eland, Des Moines; Mrs. Anna Mae Bugen and Mrs. Georgia Gail Leys, both of Burlington; a son, Harry Ray Warner, Sperry; three brothers, August, Burlington; Edward, Sumner, Wash.; and John, Hollywood, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Peggy Hiltz, Mrs. Clara Bradfield and Mrs. Anna Perry, all of Burlington; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother are dead. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wallen's chapel with the Rev. George G. Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
