Elfrieda A. Warming, 95, of Des Moines, died of natural causes Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines. Born Sept. 6, 1907, in Fiensburg, Germany, she was the daughter of Ramus and Maren Dinesen Christoffersen. She married Christian J. Warming. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Warming was a homemaker. She spent most of her life in Burlington, moving to Des Moines in 2001. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Burlington and the Danish Sisterhood. Survivors include one son, Richard Warming of West Des Moines; two daughters, Marian Tiedmann of Roseville, Calif., and Rheda Schultz of Madison, Wis.; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. The funeral for Mrs. Warming will be at 9:30 a.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. Memorials have been established for First United Church of Christ in Burlington and Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines.
