Christian (Chris) J. Warming, 69, of 1724 Madison Ave., died Sunday, May 6, at Memorial Hospital. He was born May 18, 1903, in Ribe, Denmark, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Warming. On Aug. 23, 1929 in Burlington, he married Elfreda Christoffersen. Mr. Warming, a retired trainman for the Burlington Railroad, was a member of the Des Moines Lodge No. 1 (AF&AM), the Danish Brotherhood, and the First United Church of Christ. Surviving: The wife; one son, Richard, Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Marian Tiedemann, Roseville, Calif., Mrs. Rheda Schultz, Madison, Wis.; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Andrew, Kolling, Denmark, Carl, Ribe, Denmark and one sister, Mrs. Anna Andersen, also of Ribe.
