Catherine L. Wardlow, 74, of 123 N. Marshall, died at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Burlington Medical Center. Born April 25, 1912, in Mounds, Ill., she was the daughter of Eugene Whitefield and Ora Gills Wardlow. She was a member of St. John;s African Methodist Episcopal Church. Surviving is James Duncan, with whom she made her home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel. Services for Miss Wardlow will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. Robert Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
