Mrs. Adelia Walter, 70 a former Burlington resident, died at Mercy hospital here Saturday at 1:35 a.m. after an extended illness. She was born in Burlington Dec. 3, 1890, and married Fred Walter, in Galesburg, ill., July 14, 1922. The couple lived in Burlington until 1935 before moving here. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran church. Survivors include her husband; one son, John, Davenport; two sisters, Miss Julia Schmidt and Mrs. Fred Hugg, both of Burlington. One brother and five sisters died earlier. services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Elliott-Lunning Chapel. Rev. G.A. Saathoff officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
