Robert Barton Walker, 64, of 700 S. Garfield, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Burlington Medical Center. He was born Sept. 23,1917, at Pueblo, Colo., to Elbert and Esther Barton Walker. He married Louise Frudeger Sept. 25, 1938, at Burlington. He retired as a railway mail clerk and later worked for Stoermers and Pzazz Motor Inn. He was a member and treasure of First United Methodist Church and a member of its Homebuilders class. Surviving: his wife, two sons, David, Burlington, and Robert G., Ritman, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Waggoner, Ft. Madison.; three grandsons. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday, First United Methodist Church, the Rev. Arthur Campney; Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for First United Methodist Church.
