Mrs. Mildred G. Walker, 76, of 505 N. Eighth, died in Burlington Medical Center at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29. She was born Dec. 27, 1906, at Griswold, to Edward and Elma Ewart Goessling. She was a registered nurse, retiring in 1973 after many years of service at Burlington Medical Center. She married Lloyd Walker in Burlington in 1929. Surviving: The husband; son Phillip, Hanover Park, Ill.; daughter Joyce Heberling, Oklahoma City, Okla.; sister Florence Folker, Burlington; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services are pending at Prugh's Chapel.
