Lloyd Archibald Walker, 89, of 505 N. Eighth St., died at 1 p.m. Monday, April 22, 1991, at his home. Born May 8, 1901, in Burlington, he was the son of William "Bill" and Birdie Walker Walker. he married Mildred G. Walker in 1929 in Burlington. She died Sept. 29, 1983. He owned and operated His Barber Shop on North Sixth Street for several years. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ. Surviving are one son, Phillip Walker, Hanover Park, Ill.; one daughter, Joyce Heberling, Garland, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Walker and Florence Folker, both of Burlington; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Prugh Chapel. The service for Mr. Walker will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Crousore officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Hospice.
