Robert Leo Walker was born July 9, 1944, in Burlington, the son of Leo E. and Loretta Bloomberg Walker. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran church. He was a 1963 graduate of Burlington high school and served four years in the Navy, including service aboard the USS Thomaston in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in July, 1967, with the rate of machinist mate third class. Services are pending at Prugh's Chapel.
