William Blevins, 67, a former Burlington resident, died Thursday, April 6, at Old Town, Fla.
Born Aug. 18, 1910, in Swan Creek, Ill., he was the son of Erret Judson and Bertha McCammon Blevins. He was a retired glass glazer, WWII navy veteran, and member of American Legion Post 52, and Burlington VFW.
Surviving: the wife, Alleyne; two sisters, Mrs. Winnetta Strubel and Mrs. Wilda Bayne, both of Burlington.
Funeral: 1:30 pm Tuesday, Prugh’s chapel. Rev. Homer L Max; Aspen Grove Cemetery with military rights.
