Thomas H. Waldin, 84-year old life resident of Burlington, died in Mercy hospital at 10:42 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Waldin, whose home was at 2401 Mt. Pleasant St., was a retired Burlington Railroad shops blacksmith. He was the son of Gus and Catherine Hoberg Waldin, and was born June 4, 1884. He was a member of the Eagles lodge and the Railroad veterans. Mr. Waldin was married June 21, 1923 in Burlington, to Katherine E. Clevidence. Surviving: The wife; daughter Mrs. Verlee Huppenbauer, and two grandchildren. A son died previously. Services; Thursday at the Prugh Chapel at 3:30, the Rev. John Ziegler, Aspen Grove cemetery.
