Lyman "Bud" Wagner, 81, of 1904 s. Main, died Thursday, March 4, at St. Francis Continuation Care Center. He was born Nov. 15, 1900, at Burlington, to Arthur J. and Anna Schworm Wagner. He married Marie Friedman, June 27, 1923, at Burlington. She died Sept. 15, 1981. Mr. Wagner was president and owner of Wagner Distributin Co., formerly V.P. Burlington Fruit co. He was a member of the First Congregational Church and Eagles Aerie 150. He donated the lights for the BHS softball diamond. Surviving: one son, Richard L. Wagner, Burlington High School athletic director; one sister, Mrs. Stella Sleater, Burlington. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Lunning Chapel, the Rev. Arnold Boich; Aspen Grove Cemetery, Memorial has been established to the BHS Athletic Department.
