Obituary

Mrs. Lillie M. Wagner, 91, who was a 21-year resident of Wapello, Iowa, died Sunday (Jan. 29, 2006) at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa. She had a cottage on Lake Odessa for 28 years that she enjoyed. Mrs. Wagner was born Oct. 12, 1914, in Wheaton, Minn., a daughter of the late Karl and Ida (Miller) Drinkwitz. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James A. Wagner; three brothers and one sister. Mrs. Wagner is survived by sons, Karl B. Wagner and wife, Betty, of Jacksonville, Ill.; Ken Wagner and wife, Penny, of Conway; grandchildren, Tiffanie Rudow and husband, Chad, (formerly of Conway) of Glenwood Springs, Colo., and Tyler Goble (formerly of Conway) of Sumter, S.C.; and great-grandchild, Koston Goble of Sumter, S.C. Memorial services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at Community of Christ Church, 901 S. 12th Street, Burlington, Iowa, 52601, with Elder Jerry Wiemann officiating. Interment will be a private service for the family. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Wapello Nursing Home, 601 Highway 61 South, Wapello, Iowa, 52653.
