Mary Lou Wagner, 67, of West Burlington, died at 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born Oct. 7, 1932, she was the daughter of Menno and Anna Rich Nafziger. She married Kenneth Wagner, Sr. on Nov. 29, 1952, in Fort Madison. Mrs. Wagner worked for Campbell Chain, ACE Enterprise, Sylvania and Midwest Biscuit Co. She was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Women's Auxiliary. She loved being with her family, gardening, and flowers. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Fran Burroughs of Burlington; two sons, Kenny Wagner, Jr. of Middletown and David Wagner of West Burlington; four grandchildren; four sisters, Janet Hagemeier of Burlington, Nancy Oster of West Burlington, Mildred Waterman of Burlington, and Helen Riley of El Paso, Texas; and seven brothers, Larry Nafziger of West Burlington, Ed Nafziger of Burlington, Rex Nafziger of Amarillo, Texas, Arlie Nafziger of Pennsylvania, Charles Nafziger of Oquawka, Ill., Dwight Nafziger of Fremont, Neb., and Donald Nafziger of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sisters. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Thursday in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The funeral for Mrs. Wagner will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Schowalter officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for St. Paul's United Church of Christ in West Burlington.
