Obituary

Harry e. Wagner, 70-year-old founder of Wagner Elevator Service, died in Burlington Medical Center Monday, Jan. 21. His home was 2224 Sunnyside. He was born July 29, 1909, at Ottumwa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wagner. He married Alice Weber Sept. 3, 1932, at Galesburg, Ill. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church. Carthage Lake club and the Elks lodge and was past treasurer of BikeBurlington. Surviving: the wife; two sons, Wayne, Des Moines, and Gary, Burlington; daughter, Shirley Grimm, Stanwood; two brothers, Walter, Kirksville, Mo., and Fred, Peoria, Ill.; and eight grandchildren.Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Trinity church, Rev. Alvin Jenkins; Aspen Grove cemetery. A memorial has been established at Trinity church. The body is at Sheagren funeral home.
