Charles Miller Wagner, 78, 715 Shoquoquon Drive, Burlington, died at 6:59 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 1995, at Burlington Medical Center. Born Sept. 30, 1916, in Burlington, he was the son of Charles L. and Matilda Miller Wagner. Mr. Wagner worked for Burlington Northern Railroad, the city of Burlington. The Hawk Eye and the City Parks Department. He ran pony and pitch ring for many years at various county fairs locally. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Steve Wagner of Burlington; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three other sons and four other daughters in various locations. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son. Visitation will be held after 8 a.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. The funeral for Mr. Wagner will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. John Hyland officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
