Ronald Lee Wagler, 46, of Burlington, died Friday, June 14, 1996, at his home. Born May 26, 1950, in Burlington, he was the son of William N. and Marjorie J. Keever Wagler. On June 15, 1974, he married Linda A. Brunsell in Burlington. Mr. Wagler was employed as a production worker for Exide Battery Corp. for 17 years. He was a 1968 graduate of Burlington High School, attended Church of the Open Bible, was a member of the United Auto Workers Union, member of Electrical Workers IBEW Local no. 13, enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a Cubs fan. Survivors include one daughter, Brooke Champagne, of Burlington; one son Aaron Brunsell of Iowa City; one granddaughter; his parents, William and Marjorie Wagler of Burlington; and two brothers, Randall W. Wagler and Kevin L. Wagler, both of Burlington.. Friends may call after 8 a.m. and the family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Monday in the Lunning Chapel. Funeral services for Mr. Wagler will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gensis Fellowship Church with the Rev. Richard Dunham officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorail for the education of Ronald's granddaughter, Summer Champagne, has been established.
