Adolph John Wachutka, 74, of 1703 Grube, died 3;49 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 1985, at Burlington Medical Center. He was born July 14, 1910, in Burlington, to Frank and Marie Leiter Wachutka. He married Naomi Porter on April 19, 1943, in New Orleans. He was a retired Burlington police captain and served the department 22 years. He was a Army Air Corps veteran. Surviing: his wife; two sisters, Marie Wachutka, Burlington, and Antoinette Pfeiffer, Chicago; one nephew, Arthur E. Wachutka, St. Louis Park, Minn.; four great nephews and three great-great nephews. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday, in St. John;s Catholic Church; Fr. Albert Hauser will officiate; Aspen Grove Cemetery; a wake service will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday in Prugh's Chapel. Graveside committal services for Mr. Norberto Victores, who passed away April 27, 1985, will be held in Aspen Grove Cemetery 2 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Eric Haugen will officiate. The family will receive friends at Prugh's Monday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m.
