Gloria Irene Voss, 91, of Burlington died at 7:04 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016, at her home.
Born April 12, 1925, in Laurel Springs, N.C., she was the daughter of Carl Joseph and Dessie Raye Bare. On Jan. 31, 1943, she married Burdette Arthur “Burt” Voss in Missouri. He died Aug. 8, 2014.
Mrs. Voss was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and, especially, time with her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Diane Wolfe of Olathe, Kan., Barbara Voss of Lake Mills, Wis., and Carole Voss of Burlington; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Jackie Atwood of North Carolina; and one brother, Richard Bare of North Carolina.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two grandchildren.
Cremation has been entrusted to Prugh-Thielen Crematory.
A private committal will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.
