Obituary

William N. Blessing, 65, 1505 Silverleaf, died at 3 am Saturday, July 3, at Memorial hospital here.
He was born on Nov. 29, 1905, in Lancaster, Mo., the son of Frank and Susan Figge Blessing. He married Lola Short on Nov. 14, 1931, at Salem.
A retired employee of Leopold Desk company, Mr. Blessing was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving: His wife; a son, Frank, Raymore, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Susan Rhum, Mrs. Marilyn Acord, Mrs. Arlene Fletcher, and Mrs. Shirley Koett, all of Burlington; a brother, James Blessing, Cedar Rapids; five sisters, Mrs. Mabel Dean, Coatesville, Mo., Mrs. Ruby Bergmanm, Kirksville, Mo., Mrs. Mary Seigried, Springfield, Ohio, Mrs. HazelAvis, Davenport, and Mrs. Edith Shinn, Seattle, Wash.; 21 grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday at 10:30 am, Elliott-Lunning chapel, Rev. GA Saathoff; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
